❦ Susana Velasquez - Hazel would probably murder someone for her. Protective of her darling roomie, but she's a little more accepting that Ana can take care of herself now thanks to endgame.
❦ Micah St. Clair - Endearing idiot friend that Hazel adores. No romantic feelings, but hot damn does she love making out with this kid. After last year, she feels especially like she needs to take care of him, but she's going to do her best to push that down.
❦ Cole Moss - Hazel worries that Cole is going to get himself killed because he's such a space cadet. Has to resist the urge to lead him around by the hand regularly.
❦ Calvin Evercreech - For some reason, Hazel has decided that Calvin is the friend she needs to worry about the least, and sees him as a protector like herself. Of all her friends, she sees him as equal to her in his ability to take care of himself and others, though she's a little less convinced of this since he was taken by Anon. Ultimately, it may be misplaced faith anyways.
❦ Zachary Zheng & Samantha Sweeney - After going through the search for their friends together, Hazel's opinion of both Zach and Sam has risen considerably. While she's not quite sure if they qualify as friends, she can definitely respect the camaraderie that comes with being in the trenches together.
❦ Ariadne Flint - They're friends now because she pet Hazel at that Grotto party.

❦ Casey Patterson - Frenemy. Hazel is trying to be nicer to him her junior year after Ty requested it, but she finds him frustrating and mean more often than not.

❦ Ty Hawkeswood - Hazel's "older brother." She wears his letter jacket often and sticks every postcard she gets from him up on the wall next to her bed. She writes him regularly and misses him horribly.
❦ Quinn Cunningham - Quinn is the person she'll tell her scary life problems to. She doesn't want to upset Ty and trusts Quinn to give her honest advice.
